上海温情女声喜辰晨 (Voision Xi)，厦门自由歌者飞NX (Feinix)，台湾都市制作人Farragol，三位不同地域的音乐人初次合作，在这首歌里产生了连结。

创作始于2018年，尚有台风困扰的秋季，飞NX从厦门前往上海演出遭遇糟糕天气返程航班被取消，是被动也是机缘，飞NX联系上喜辰晨，把这段不知所措的时间交给了两个人互相期待已久的合作与共同演唱。而彼时正和喜辰晨密切联络的制作人Farragol正巧发送了这支带有City-Pop味道伴着雨夜湿漉漉氛围的伴奏小样，三个音乐想法一拍即合，经过词曲创作和录制把这些突然的、巧合的、顺其自然的心绪汇集成这首”Delay, She-fly”，这也是喜辰晨首次尝试和参与作曲。
