January 2018, Eating Music was founded. Going through the embryo stage with many supports, we have later grown to accomplish many wishes as we planned. On the eve of Chinese New Year, we are announcing our 1st release in 2019 - <Eating with Friends> digital compilation. We had invited 9 groups of artists from different countries/regions to make up the new vision of music out of the same goals. This actually has been one of the expectations of Eating Music since it founded.

All our friends with interesting ideas have made this album complete.

Eating Music artists including multi-instruments player & producer Cruel Buddhist from U.S. and his Irish friend 9oundcake; Kool Klone, _tarolin and Conehead, the core members of the most active music group “beats and friends” in Taiwan going by the name of “talonehead” with their debut release.

Friends/supporters of Eating Music, also producers including Sicknessmp from Indonesia with his solid, original boom-bap hip-hop style music; saib from Morocco, who used to study in Hangzhou featuring himself with strong interests on old Chinese pop music and culture; Delf, a Hong Kong urban music producer with rich music-collaboration and studio work experience; Beautiful Disco from South Korea. His music is enriched with different styles of sounding material and rhythm, which shows him a dope producer with enthusiasm.

An old friend that we’ve been witnessing each other’s growth, 也是福 (Eddie Beatz) from the most chillful city in China, Chengdu. He always has the energy that surprises you every time with his unique inspiration and subtle textures.

Also, we invited the one and the only, master Budamunk from Japan who ever came to China and showed us his skill in Eating Music’s events.

As we celebrating one of the most important Chinese traditional festivals - Spring Festival and looking forward to the future, one of the integral customs is we sitting at a table with families and friends, eating, drinking together as well as listening music together. Eating Music here sharing our hard works and sending our best wishes!

2018年1月，Eaing Music厂牌成立，历经萌芽期种种探索，在各种力量的支持下，我们达成了诸多愿望。农历中国新年前夕，作为厂牌一周年的阶段性纪念，我们带来2019年首个发行：<Eating with Friends> 数字合辑。邀请9组全部来自不同地区/国家的制作人参与，合成一幅分散在世界各个角落，但带有共同愿望的音乐人连结而成的新图景，这也是宜听的期许之一。

所有好朋友各自带来的有趣想法，让这个合辑得以最终完整呈现。
参与其中的有厂牌旗下音乐人：来自美国的Cruel Buddhist和他的爱尔兰朋友9oundcake的合作曲目；来自台湾的Kool Klone联合_tarolin, Conehead组成的beatmakers组合”talonehead”默契搭档，带来首次公开发表作品，三人也是当地最活跃音乐组织之一”beats and friends”的重要成员。
有风格各异又同时是厂牌长期支持者的好友音乐人：来自印尼坚持原汁原味Boom Bap Hip-Hop制作风格的Sicknessmp; 来自摩洛哥曾经在杭州留学，并对中国文化和中文老歌有着浓厚兴趣的saib; 来自香港有着颇丰的合作履历和录音室经验的都市感制作人Delf.
有通过层层关联寻找到的新鲜声音：来自韩国玩转多变素材和节奏的热情小哥Beautiful Disco.
有互相见证成长的老朋友：来自中国最chill城市天府成都，总能让你为其灵感和细致而惊喜的也是福 aka Eddie Beatz.
还有我们曾经邀请来中国演出并衍生出更多火花的实力制作人：来自日本，任何介绍都是多余的master - Budamunk.

在大家不约而同对未来产生积极期待的中国传统佳节“春节”期间，相聚吃饭很重要，一起听音乐也很重要，Eating Music想和你分享我们的成果，并播下新的种子。
