如果有必要形容 zuho 的演奏所呈现的画面：
是一个属于敏感者的安全空间，留下自己和一些声音独处，在这个直白又隐秘的40分钟里。

“其实到了今天，我也不明白这张专辑对我来说是什么，或许可以说它是，仅仅一年前都坚信如今却变得遥远的表达。与那些了不起地在探索着音乐边界、有着深刻主题的这个时代该有的新音乐不一样，我还在做沉迷于‘本我’这个词的事，却又像是在寻找真诚的路上迷失了。

以前有两个信念：一切及时发生的都是一切过去的总结；一切行为都是表达。这张专辑里的很多曲子，都只是在我时间停摆的时候第一时间想说的话。简单重复的旋律，空缺的频段与缺失感。

而语言本身是有限制的，我脑袋里那个在思考时、阅读时说话的inner voice很多年下来变得不那么健谈，取而代之的是不需要用语言描述的声音与旋律。这些会出现在收到朋友信件的时候、与人相遇的时候、与人分别的时候、刚睡醒的时候、洗澡的时候......总是有值得被自己记住的故事。我把它们尽量不加修饰地记录下来，连着那些房间里的声音、在那时共同存在于同一个时间里的另一个人的声音，放在了一起。

于是从结果上来看，我像是制作了一张那段短暂又漫长时日的配乐，一切声音和旋律都因为那些日子与故事而诞生。

It is the safety zone for those who are sensitive, able to be left alone with sounds in this dark but straightforward forty-minute album.

“Until now, I still have no idea what this album means to me. Probably it’s the production which I had no doubt a year ago but now finding it distant to reach. Some contemporary music does a good job on exploring the boundary of this field, having decent motif. I put all the effort on my inner self, but it seems that I’m lost on the way of finding my faith.

I used to have two beliefs: what happens now is the result of the past; and all the action is the expression. Many songs in this album are what I wanted to express immediately in specific moments, and they are made of simple repeating rhythms and spaced segments – some parts are “missing”.

Words and language are restricted; the inner voice used to speak in my head when I read or thought, is now replaced with music and sounds. These sounds appear when I receive letters from friends, when I meet people and say bye to them, when I just wake up, when I take showers, and so on. There are always moments and stories deserved to be remembered, and I try to record them as exact as they are. There are sounds in the room and sounds of the other person who was there at that moment.

I seemed to produce the background music for that period of time – all the sounds and melodies were born in those days and moments.

A record that I would definitively place in ambiant. There is a big melancholy feeling coming out of its tune, something probably due to the use of old records's samples. It is not dreadful though, navigating a fine line. I'd recommend a listen to anyone looking for calm music with depth. Thibaut Devigne

Every time I listen to it, it brings me so many memories and lots of joy. A really well crafted album where you can feel the effort put into every song. Had the chance to attend one of the gigs at the Church of Sound in London which for me, was one of the most memorable shows I've been so far. Not only because of the engagement of the audience but also the level of intimacy reached by these two. virgimarine
